What does Selby District Disability Forum do?

Promoting Equal Access

Selby District Disability Forum works together to improve services and attitudes across Selby District. Empowering people with disabilities and the community as a whole.

Community Involvement

We are always looking at ways to work with the local community to improve accessibility. We work with Selby District Council, North Yorkshire County Council, and local event planners to support continued improvement.

SEE OUR COMMUNITY INVOLVEMENT

Have you completed our Selby District Public Transport Survey?

This survey is for anyone and everyone to complete – it will allow us to support transport providers to make their services more accessible. Your opinions will help us to champion change needed to make our bus and train networks more inclusive. It shouldn’t take you more than a few minutes. Thank you.

Local Action Groups

Our actions groups are made up of those with disabilities, those supporting others with disabilities, decision makers, and local residents. Members come together regularly to improve their local community and provide better access for of all.
